Decent, but could be better for the price
The V-shaped head and guard is very useful, especially for private areas. Even for full body grooming it’s decent. Not waterproof but can get wet inside the blade guard area. The disassembly and cleaning is easy which is nice. However, for the price, this leaves much to be desired. This trimmer is TERRIBLE at holding charge from my experience. Literally after 20-30 min of trimming the rpms noticeably slow down. I have to plug it in after every use which is annoying. The charging system is also quite annoying, it’s just a massive plug/mount into the wall which depending on the size/location of your outlet, could make it difficult to plug in. The trimmer also only came with one guard and for my body hair, the difference between the bare bones trimmer at the one guard is quite big, 4-6 mm it looks like (this could be user error but I’ve tried holding it in multiple angles and have little change in quality). I’d highly recommend buying a different V-shaped trimmer if that’s your market. I feel like for under $100 or even under $80, you can find a much better quality trimmer. When it works, it’s good, but the cons outweigh the pros.

-It is slightly easier and quicker to use on body hair compared to traditionally designed and oriented hair clippers (remember this trimmer is designed for body hair and will not work for cutting or shaving head hair.)
CONS:- I was hesitant to buy this at first as many other comments on here showed that the blade was fragile and would break easily. And after opening it is true that the blade and its teeth are very small and thin, as shown in one of my attached photos with this product next to my old $30 Philips hair clippers, where the blade teeth are multiple times the size and much more robust.
-The worst part about the design with this fragile blade is that it must be pushed on directly with force to remove it for cleaning the hair out and oiling, and the instruction manual suggests cleaning and oiling with every use. I believe this is how most people have broken this fragile blade. The red area I have circled in one of the attached photos shows the small blade area that must be pushed on with force to remove it, there is none of the black plastic to push on to remove the blade that is all part of the main body of the trimmer, only the circled metal part can be pushed on. I have also attached photos of the instruction manual explaining how to remove the blade. In one section it says “It is no problem when touch the blade by fingers (sic)”(broken English in an instruction manual is never a good sign) and then in another section of the instruction manual as shown in the photos it says “Do not forcefully press the blade.” Confusing information. And when I tried it does feel as though pieces/teeth will break off the blade when pushed against, so I am still uncertain as to how I am ever going to remove the blade for cleaning and oiling.
-The trimmer does not come with a charging stand or anything to charge it on, only a cable.
-The trimmer cannot be used when plugged in. This means that when the internal battery dies this item will become useless. And the battery life is not good, it is written in the instruction manual that if charged and used once a month it will last 3 years (this is in one of the attached photos as well). Panasonic says that a full battery lasts for 50mins of use. That equals to around 30-35 hours of use from this trimmer from brand new to the internal battery dying and then the whole trimmer needing to be thrown away. I think I remember reading somewhere that this trimmer does not have a lithium ion battery, but I’m not sure if that is correct. If it does not have one, it should for this price range.
The way this trimmer is designed with the orientation of the blade head is unique, and there are no other competitors with this design that I can find online. I believe this is what has allowed this trimmer to be designed with a limited lifespan with the blade and battery, as there is no other competition for a trimmer of this kind. This product may very well be a good example of planned obsolescence.
